Intourist-Petrozavodsk Ltd., the oldest travel company in the Republic of Karelia, is glad to offer you cooperation in the field of tourism.
Our company was founded in 1966 as a branch of the national tour operator «Intourist», which specialized in package tours and hotel bookings for groups and individual foreign travellers. At that time the company consisted of 6 people.
From January of 2018 the services in tourism are provided by our company InTourLeader and Intourist-Petrozavodsk provides the educational services.
Today InTourLeader Ltd. is an independent tour operator, which provides tourist services for Russian and foreign tourists. We are the largest tourist company in Karelia and the only company in our republic, which has an incoming department specializing in services for foreign tourists. The company consists of 30 people, including 5 managers of the incoming department. We speak Finnish, English, German, French, and Italian.
In 2010 our company opened a tour guide school. Our guides speak Finnish, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Swedish. They are not only qualified professionals but they also love Karelia, that is why you will feel our local hospitality and get acquainted with a lot of interesting facts you will never learn reading a guidebook.
In 2015 we introduced our new brand name, Go-Karelia. We think this is the name, which perfectly suits our company. We are an active and enthusiastic team, who love and know Karelia. We believe in its big touristic potential and will be happy to share with you unique beauty and originality of Karelian nature, endless lakes and woods, and acquaint you with hospitable people, national cuisine, and with the abundance of cultural heritage of our remarkable republic.
