You will meet Nadezhda, a local resident of Kinerma, who will show you the village and teach. While interacting with Nadezhda, you will learn not only interesting facts about her family but also discover, how people live today in Russia far from big cities. After the excursion you will taste national Karelian dishes. After lunch you will get acquainted with one of the prettiest and one of the friendliest dog breeds in the world, and experience trekking with huskies in the pine forest of Karelia.

09:30 Departure for Kinerma Village.
11:30 Meeting with Nadezhda, local resident of Kinerma Village. Excursion around the village. Lunch in the village with dishes of Karelian cuisine.
13:30 Arrival at the husky farm. Excursion in the husky farm. you will be introduced to the dogs so that you become familiar with them. Your musher will tell you a lot of interesting facts and information about the work which is involved in their maintenance and about their nature. Instructions and safety measures. Once you are equipped with a special belt, you will go on an exciting trek 3-km trek with huskies in the Karelian pine forest. Important! Trekking is possible only when the temperature is below 23 degrees Celsius. If the temperature is higher, trekking will be replaced with professional photo session with huskies.
Afterwards you will taste Karelian tea with berries and herbs with pies in a traditional hut covered with reindeer skins.
