Last weekend, 06-08.02.2015, we arranged a FAM trip to Karelia for tour operators from St. Petersburg and Moscow.
On Friday we acquainted our partners with the Petrozavodsk hotels, museums, and restaurants. The highlight of the day was the visit to the Karelian Museum of Fine Arts. After the excursion, which included the famous collection of northern icon painting, all the participants took part in a workshop and painted a typical Karelian winter landscape. In the evening, during the welcoming dinner, the beer brewer of the Paulaner Restaurant acquainted our guests with the process of beer brewing and showed how and where the Paulaner beer is made.
For the first night of the FAM trip our guests were accommodated at one of the most comfortable hotels in Petrozavodsk, Park Inn by Radisson.
The next two days our guests spend admiring Karelian winter landscapes and sights, which are situated close to Petrozavodsk. They tasted national Karelian baking and mineral water in the first Russian SPA, Marsial Waters, visited waterfall Kivach, which is the second largest waterfall in Europe, and experienced usky sledding across the Syamozero Lake. Afterwards everybody took a picture with beautiful and friendly huskies.
The second night our guests spent in the Urozero Cottage Complex. Managers of Urozero prepared interesting team building activities and showed the facilities of the cottage complex. After substantial dinner our guests could walk on the territory of the cottage complex and enjoy the perfect winter weather, ride down the hill on a sled, or relax in the Russian sauna.
We would like to thank Park Inn Hotel in Petrozavodsk, Karelian Museum of Fine Arts, Kudama Husky Farm, Urozero Cottage Complex, and Kivach Nature Reserve for their help and support during our FAM trip.
