07:50 Arrival in Petrozavodsk by train from Moscow. Meeting with the guide on the railway station. Breakfast. 08:30 Departure for Kinerma Village (100 km from Petrozavodsk). 10:30 Meeting with Nadezhda, local resident of Kinerma Village. Thanks to Nadezhda the village became a unique monument of traditional wooden architecture. She did not only win several grants for the restoration of ancient houses, but also preserves the village in a traditional Karelian style. Excursion around the village. Hot tea with pies of Karelian cuisine. 11:30 Transfer to the snowmobiling straing point. 12:30 Upon arrival meeting with the instructor. Briefing on safety measures. Getting equipped. Start of the snowmobile safari (accommodation 2 persons per snowmobile) in the beautiful Karelian pine forest. The total distance of the safari is 10 km. 14:30 Lunch with dishes of Karelian cuisine after the ride. 15:30 Transfer to Petrozavodsk (35 km). 16:15 Arrival in Petrozavodsk. Accommodation at a 4-star hotel. Free time.
Breakfast. 09:00 City tour of Petrozavodsk. 10:00 Departure for Kizhi Island by hovercraft. 11:30 Walking tour in the Kizhi Museum. You will get acquainted with the multidomed church ensemble, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit a reconstructed village, and see the most ancient wooden church in Russia. After the excursion your guide will take you to the other side of Kizhi Island to visit Yamka Village and to tell you about local tea traditions. Here you will taste traditional tea made of herbs with national pies. 14:30 Departure for Petrozavodsk by hovercraft. Upon arrival in Petrozavodsk late lunch and afterwards transfer to the railway station.
