2-day Husky Trekking

08:55 Meeting with the guide at the railway station in Petrozavodsk. Breakfast.

Afterwards transfer to the husky farm. Excursion in the husky farm. You will be introduced to the dogs so that you become familiar with them. Transfer to the trekking starting point.

Once you are equipped with a special belt, you will go on an exciting trekking route to the Kangasyarvi Lake. Today's distance is 15 km. During the route you will learn the character of your dog, and the dog will get to know you better. At first your dog can move faster than you need, so you will need to work an ideal speed for both of you. On our way we stop for picnic lunch.

When we reach the lake, we set up our campsite and enjoy bathing or fishing.

In the evening we will enjoy hot dinner cooked over the open fire, share our impressions and enjoy the atmosphere of a summer evening far from civilization. Night in a tent.

After breakfast we continue our husky trekking adventure from the Kangasyarvi Lake to the ancient Kinerma Village. You and your husky have become a real team, where each member understands and helps one another. Today's distance is 17 km.

Picnic lunch on the way.

Today's highlight is Kinerma Village, which got the official status of the most beautiful village in Russia in 2016. Kinerma is an ancient Karelian village frozen in time. Here you will feel the atmosphere of a true Karelian rural life, its peaceful atmosphere, and tranquility. After a walking excursion you will have lunch in the farmer’s house with dishes of national cuisine. After lunch transfer to Petrozavodsk.
